Attaching the Ladies First Chicken Door opener to your coop is easy. First make sure your existing sliding door is 1/2 inch thick or less. A 1/4 inch thick door works well. The door should be approximately 2 1/2 lbs or less in weight. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver, a drill with a 1/8inch and 1/4 inch drill bits and pliers are helpful but not required.
